Most years I have goals such as loose weight, save money, pay off debt. All good goals. All things I need to do this coming year, but this year is different. Different for so many reasons. The biggest being Bébé.
December has come and gone.
This was the last Christmas before the baby comes and it was fairly normal. Some family drama, some relaxation, and plenty of food.
Winter break began with our usual trek to the golden state.
Twenty Fifteen was a year of change and a year of things staying the same.
Zoey and I are cuddling on the couch trying to stay warm on this very cold New Years Eve. I am watching Appendices #8 from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and contemplating the year that was and the year yet to come.
I feel like I slept through much of 2014. I sat by and let things happen. I existed but did not live life to its fullest. I have many goals for the new year. Though I am not sure if they are truly new years resolution. I was asked by someone on Monday if I had any resolutions and I was struck by the fact that I had made none. But I think it is time to make some. Somethings need to be improved in the new year. Mainly I need to focus on myself. Doing things that make me happy, focusing on the good.

So we come to New Years Eve and here I am working on the first two goals. Tonight I am blogging and cooking a Cottage Pie for our culinary enjoyment.
It has been a year. A year of highs and lows. A year of learning and growing. Here is my year end review.
Happy Pumpkin Patch day! That you To Starbucks for making my chai latte so much better with coconut milk.
Fall is here. It is that time again for pumpkins and colored leaves. This last Saturday my class went to pick pumpkins and I picked up a new scarf in honor of the event. Here are some pictures from the farm.
